Service was amazing and the food was delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass was so buttery and full of flavor. Dirty Martini's hit the spot!

Came here to celebrate my friend & i's birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and fancy. We came as a walk in but reservations are recommended - luckily we didn't have to wait. FYI parking lot is valet only - it'll be hard to find street parking nearby and it's $6 (they do take card if you don't have cash). We got the sea bass, prime rib, cream corn & various forms of potatoes as sides lol. Prime rib was delicious and flavorful - really enjoyed it. Sea bass was good but I don't know, I didn't love the flavor personally. Cream corn had high potential, but i don't know if it was just ours but it was way too salty. The flavor was good though. The mashed potatoes / baked potatoes are standard. Overall I'm glad I tried this place out & it's a great place to have a nice dinner & celebrate.

First the best service in the Los Angeles area. Maitre'd, Servers, very attentive without interrupting conversations (my pet peeve) . But it is hella expensive. Well over $100 per person with one cocktail each and no wine. Steaks were very good as was the French onion soup. But you can have the same meal for nearly half price at Taylor's Steakhouse in LA.

This was not my first visit to Dal Rae but this is my first time writing a review of it. First off, it's a fantastic restaurant. Their staff is absolutely top notch, so they get very high marks for the service. Inside the restaurant has an old school steak house vibe and they nail that aesthetic 100%. The decorations during the holiday season are very nice as well. Food is always very high quality, from the bread to the table side Caesar salad to the steaks and even dessert (Banana Flambé awesome). The drinks are also very good, I really enjoyed their house old fashioned. All of these things of course end up being reflected on your final bill which is certainly on the high side but you get what you pay for. Ultimately that's the only thing that keeps me from giving five stars is that the cost is prohibitive, at least for me, to being able to afford enjoying this wonderful restaurant more frequently.

Dal Rae is among the last, if not the actual last of the great LA dinner houses. The main dining room is a 50's era throwback (elegant with space-age chandeliers, roomy booths, and tables for larger parties). A few of the items are prepared table-side and unless you're in a booth, you won't get the benefit of that show. There simply isn't room on the floor to prepare those items without totally obstructing the walkway. Service is professional (attentive, candid, and proactive). Drinks are generously poured and expertly mixed. A Perfect Manhattan was actually perfect. My wife's Cosmo struck the elusive balance of sweet and tangy. French onion soups (3 at our table) and a wedge were right on the money. The entrees (the famous Pepper Steak (NY)), Sea Bass, Veal Parm, and Filet were all prepared correctly and served with a side. Desserts: A sundae (nice but some non-hardened chocolate topping would have helped) and butter cake all tasted great and were enough to share. Not too long ago, your meal started with a nice but modest relish tray. Now you have to request it and it will cost you $5. Not worthwhile. All parking is valet and the attendants are on point. Very good experience, again.

Thanksgiving win! Not too busy and great holiday vibes. The ambiance hit the spot. If you're looking for an old school Vegas vibe, this is it. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and the courses all were top quality. It's pricey about 80-90 a person but it's a holiday. The service was amazing and the staff really gave their best. Debating coming back for Xmas lol it's hard to find quality steak joints nowadays!

This place is definately one I'd put on your list. Be aware that this place is reservation only otherwise you can order to go online and does valet parking only. Once you walk in you can tell this place is a cut above the rest as your transported back in time to a old fancy styled sit down restaurant with the low lighting, white table clothes and comfortable black booth and chair seatings. Service was amazing. From the front desk greeting, to the friendly wait staff, Del Rae's knows how to make you feel important. Ordered a Cuban sandwich with the steak fries and it was delicious! The quality of the ingredients is top notch. Will definately be back again.
